Mount Cucco

Mount Cucco is located at 1,566 meters above sea level, it is the ideal destination for those who love walking and can take advantage of the 90 and more kilometers of paths that cross the mountain. For speleology enthusiasts there are several caves to visit, the largest is the Grotta di Monte Cucco which extends for 35 km. descending to -922 meters.
For art lovers there are the Abbey of Santa Maria di Sitria and the Hermitage of San Girolamo.
Mount Cucco is also a destination for sportsmen, coming from all over Europe, who launch themselves from its summit with hang gliders and/or paragliders.
A visit to Monte Cucco is also a must for those who intend to visit Umbria.
